Recording Archival

Automatic Recordings Archival is a mechanism to automatically copy recordings to an offline location. In case we want to save the recordings for an extended period of time and to prevent the recordings from automatically pruning, we use the automatic archival feature.

Open Issues

Following scenarios are not handled in VRS

Issue	Summary	Alternative
There is noise in the recording when a call is consulted multiple times.	Getting codex G722 and G729 in case of multiple consults and there is complete noise in the recording.
Recording is missing in case of the conference call.	When a conference call is initiated, the recording of the call is not available.
When an outbound call is made the called number is assigned as calling number, can be seen from API response.	For outbound calls, called number is appearing against the calling number.

Currently, the solution is handling the single codec	The Voice recording solution is not supporting multiple codex. It is only handling the G711 codec.
