Work-around job for retrieving lost calls on VRS | A new backend job has been implemented. It is configurable. It was observed that some recordings are not getting to the mixer container and were not displaying on the VRS front end. So, a job is implemented which runs after the configured time to fetch the missing recordings and submit them to the mixer which will, in turn, update the database and show the missing recordings on the front end. |
VRS Load Test | A manual load test was carried out for approximately 13 to 15 agents. |
Archived Calls - VRS | An archived call record should also be shown on the Recording UI with the status *Archived* even if there's no option to play it back. |
Updated UI | A lot of improvements have been made to the VRS UI. These include

Summary | Description |
---|---|
Don't change the KeyCloak user password | For the Cisco UCC integrated setup, VRS creates a KeyCloak user with a static hidden password. The application uses this password internally for assigning role-based permissions. The actual user authentication is happening by the Cisco Finesse. Do not change the auto-created KeyCloak user's password in KeyCloak for Cisco integrated users. Authentication won't work otherwise. |
Do not change the User Id of a finesse user from CUCM | It is not recommended to change the Agent ID form CUCM. It will cause issues in Mapping Agents with the calls |
Direct Transfer scenario | In cases of Direct Transfer call, if the call is not picked up by the transferred agent within the configured time then, in this case, two separate recordings are made instead of one single combined, with two legs |
Currently, the solution is handling the single codec | The Voice recording solution is not supporting multiple codexes. It is only handling the G711 codec. |
KeyCloak | A user cannot log in on VRS Gadget if he has no role assigned in KeyCloak |
KeyCloak | If a supervisor role is assigned to a User he will see all recordings |
KeyCloak | If an agent role is assigned to the user he will see only his own recordings |
Finesse Gadget | We do not support the VRS gadget to be deployed side by side. It may disturb the UI |
Finesse Gadget | If you manually log out a user then it will not auto-login |
Finesse Gadget | In case of hold, resume call user will see the multi-legged calls |
Finesse Gadget | Users will not see the multi-legged recordings in the case of Direct Transfer, Consult Transfer, and the conference call. He will only see his leg, related to his agent id. It will be shown as a single recording. |
UI | The minimum supported UI size is 768 px |
