VRS Upgrade Guide from 14.8 to 14.9

Steps to Upgrade VRS with CISCO Deployment Profile

 

  1. Stop and remove all the VRS containers and images running in Docker.

  2. Navigate to the recording-solution/docker directory.

  3. Open the docker-compose-cisco.yaml file in your preferred text editor. Locate and update the following services and update their tags:

    1. frontend: 14.9

    2. backend: 14.9.0

    3. freeswitch-mixer: 14.9

    4. Jtapi-connector: 14.8

    5. Save the changes before closing the file.

  4. The following variable will be added to the config.env file . If you want to enable compression make it true.

  1. Navigate the application directory and run ./install-cisco and check your container using the docker ps command.

  2. Once the containers get up, the VRS Application should be accessible on https://<IP-Address >/#/login

Steps to Upgrade VRS with EFCX Deployment Profile

Changes required:

  1. Navigate to the existing outbound-dialer directory:

    cd recording-solution

  2. Open the docker-compose-efcx file:

    vi docker/docker-compose-efcx.yml
    #change tag vrs-apis: image: gitlab.expertflow.com:9242/voice-recording-solution/apis:14.9.0 #add new variable in the docker/config.env file CONVERSATION_MANAGER=http://efcx_machineIP:Conversation_Manager_Nodeport e.g. (http://80.241.213.235:31201)

  3. #run script

    ./install-efcx.sh
